Title - Plea to extend rail services

The Rail and Road Passengers Association has urged the Railway authorities to extend Train No.12244 Coimbatore-Chennai Duranto Express and Train No.11014 Coimbatore-Kurla via Bangalore Express to Palakkad. In a letter to Palakkad Railway Divisional Manager Piyush Agarwal here on Saturday, association president V.R. Mohandas and secretary P. Krishnankutty said the extension of these trains along with Train No.22610 Palakkad-Mangalore Intercity Express to Coimbatore would serve passengers from Palakkad as well as Coimbatore.
