Title - 'VIVEKANANDA EXPRESS' TRAIN ARRIVING IN CITY ON DEC.5

Mysore, Dec. 2-Vivekananda Express, an Exhibition Express Special Train that displays the life of Swami Vivekananda, will arrive at Hubli station at 05-00 hrs. on Dec. 4 and depart on the same day at 20-00 hrs. It will be stabled at Hubli Railway Station for one day (Dec.4) for public view.

The Exhibition special will depart at 20-00 hrs. from Hubli and arrive at Ashokapuram (Mysore) station at 06-00 hrs. on Dec. 5 and depart at 22-00 hrs. on Dec. 6. It will stay for two days (Dec.5 & 6) at Ashokapuram (Mysore) station for public view.

Later, it will leave for Bangalore Cantonment Station to arrive at 04-00 hrs. on Dec. 7 and depart at 01-00 hrs. on Dec. 9, from Bangalore Cantt. Station. It will be stabled for two days (Dec. 7 & 8) at Bangalore Cantt. station, for public view on South Western Railway system. From there, it will continue its journey towards Erode on Southern Railway.

The special train is dedicated to the life and works of Swami Vivekananda to mark the philosopher's 150th birth anniversary. The train, comprising five air-conditioned coaches rearranged to accommodate the exhibition attracting thousands of visitors, would be going around the country to celebrate Vivek-ananda's birth anniversary.

Rare images and artifacts associated with Vivekananda are on display inside the train charting out his life as a child in Bengal, his devotion towards 19th century saint Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, his life as a wandering monk, and his lectures in the USA, England and parts of Euro-pe on the topic of non-dualism.

The exhibition train opens for public view at 10 am and will close at 5 pm on Dec. 4 at Hubli Station. No entry fee for the Mobile Exhibition Special.

Officials of Hubli, Mysore & Bangalore Divisions of South Western Railway are gearing up to make adequate arrangements for public view at Hubli, Ashokapuram (Mysore) as well as at Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station.
