Under Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna, train to Jagannath Puri will leave from Habibganj railway station of Bhopal on December 1. It will carry 979 pilgrims from Raisen, Bhopal, Vidisha and Sagar districts.With this, the State Government has announced schedule for eight new trains under the scheme. Earlier, schedule of 28 trains was announced. Till November 29, about 20,000 senior citizens have accomplished pilgrimage through 20 trains under Teerth-Darshan Yojna. The process is continuing. As per the schedule announced by the State Government, train from Chhindwara to Jagannath Puri will leave on December 7, Chhindwara to Rameshwaram on December 15, Chhindwara to Dwarka Puri and Biaora to Tirupati on January 4, Sagar to Rameshwaram on January 5, Anuppur to Rameshwaram on January 11 and train to Dwarka Puri from Anuppur will leave on January 29.Trains to Jagannath Puri and Tirupati will carry 270 pilgrims from Seoni district, 403 from Chhindwara and 307 from Betul district each. Chhindwara to Rameshwaram train will carry 241 pilgrims from Seoni district and 590 from Chhindwara district. Train to Dwarka Puri will carry 241 pilgrims from Seoni district, 364 from Chhindwara, 276 from Betul and 98 from Harda district.Similarly, Biaora to Tirupati train will carry 333 pilgrims from Biaora, 330 from Shajapur and 317 from Ratlam district. Train from Sagar to Rameshwaram will carry 462 pilgrims from Sagar, 266 from Damoh and 252 pilgrims from Katni district. Anuppur to Rameshwaram and Dwarka Puri trains will carry 296 pilgrims from Anuppur district, 426 from Shahdol and 257 pilgrims from Umaria district. Senior citizens above 60 years of age will go to pilgrimage centres in these trains. | ||
