Title - Ahmedabad-Mangalore summer special trains from April 3

MANGALORE: In order to cater to the extra rush during the ensuing summer season, Konkan Railway, in co-ordination with Central Railway and Western Railway, will introduce weekly special trains between Ahmedabad-Mangalore and LokmanyaTilak Terminus (LTT) Madgaon from April 3 to June 6. Both trains are air-conditioned special trains.

Train number 09420 between Ahmedabad-Mangalore will be operational on every Wednesday. It will leave Ahmedabad at 4.35 pm and reach Mangalore at 7.10 pm the next day. It will be operational on April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and on June 5.

Train number 09419, which will be operational on every Thursday, will depart from Mangalore at 10.40 pm and each Ahmedabad at 11.15 pm the next day. It will operate on April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and on June 6.

The trains will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Nasari, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Udupi and Thokur. The train will have 15 coaches.

Train number 01007 LTT-Madgoan will be operational every Thursday. The train will depart LTT at 12.55 am and reach 12 noon on the same day. Train number 01008 Madgoan-LTT, which is also operational on Thursday, will leave Madgoan at 5.10 pm and will reach LTT at 4.10 am the next day. The train will be operational on April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, June 6. The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Thivim, and Karmali stations. The train will have 15 coaches.
