Title - All six Metro stations in Noida may be guarded by women guards

Noida: The Noida administration is planning to deploy female security guards at all the metro station that falls under Gautam Budh Nagar district. This comes after concerns were raised for the safety and security of women commuters outside all the six metro stations: Sector 15, Sector 16, Sector 18, Botanical Garden, Golf Course and Noida City Centre."We are reviewing the status after deployment of private security guards at all Metro stations. The assistance of Noida police has also been sought. If the situation demands, women guards will also be deployed," HT quoted Rama Raman as saying. Raman is the CEO of Noida authority.Seven security guards were deployed outside the Metro stations Monday to manage auto-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws standing outside the stations.
