A 19-year-old boy was rescued by two head constables on Monday morning at Chennai Beach station.According to Railway Protection Force (RPF), Anbu was found by Thirumurthi and Malik Basha after midnight. The boy, who dropped out in class VIII, was in the habit of using ganja and sniffing whitener solutions along with a gang of boys and constantly fought with his parents.He ran away from his place three months ago after a fight with his parents regarding his use of narcotics. His father, Kaviarasan, filed a complaint with Pallavaram police.He spent the last three months at various train stations such as Tambaram and Arakkonam and bus depots. “He used to beg for food and money,” said an RPF officer.The two RPF personnel found the boy while they were clearing the station after light showers on Sunday evening. They took him to the RPF station. At first, he refused to respond to the questions, but later gave his particulars. | ||
