Title - Cabinet allows railway land for KVs, metro tracks

New Delhi: The government today approved a proposal of the Railways for the use of its land for setting up of kendriya vidyalayas and other public utilities, in what could open a new revenue generating source for the national transporter.The proposal, vetted by the Union Cabinet, will also allow use of its land by metro network for crossing under ground, on the surface as well as on elevated track.
