Title - Cabinet to decide on rail line

The final decision on the proposed Tirunavaya-Guruvayur rail line will be taken by the Cabinet, Minister for Power and Transport Aryadan Mohammed has said. He told a meeting of people’s representatives and other stakeholders here on Friday that further decisions on the rail line would be taken only after the Cabinet decision. The suggestions and opinions of the local people and their representatives will be considered, he said.E.T. Mohammed Basheer, MP; P. Sreeramakrishnan, MLA; District Collector M.C. Mohandas; Additional District Magistrate P. Muraleedharan; Railway Administrative Officer Danny Thomas; and Railway engineer Shaji Scaria attended the meeting.
