Title - Cancellation and partial cancellation of trains from December 4

Southern Railway has cancelled some trains, partially cancelled a few, and regulated some others owing to the yard remodelling work at Tiruchi Railway Junction between December 4 and 11, according to an official release issued here on Sunday.

Trains cancelled: Mayiladuthurai-Tiruchi-Mayiladuthurai Express (16233/16234) and Karaikudi-Tiruchi-Karaikudi passenger (06839/06840) have been fully cancelled between December 4 and 11. Thanjavur-Tiruchi-Thanjavur passenger (76829/76820) has been cancelled between December 7 and 11.Tiruchi-Thanjavur-Tiruchi passenger (76824/76827) and Tiruchi-Lalgudi passenger (76800) will stand cancelled on December 8. Mannargudi-Tiruchi-Manamadurai-Tiruchi-Manamadurai passenger (76805-76807/76808-76806) and Thanjavur-Tiruchi-Thanjavur passenger (76823/76822) will remain cancelled on December 11.

Partial cancellation: Tiruchi-Mayiladuthurai-Tiruchi passenger (56823/56824) will run between Thanjavur and Mayiladuthurai, and stand cancelled between Tiruchi and Thanjavur on both directions from December 7 to 11.

Tiruchi-Rameswaram-Tiruchi passenger (56829/56830) will run between Rameswaram and Pudukottai, and stand cancelled between Pudukottai and Tiruchi on both directions between December 7 and 11.

The following trains will also be partially cancelled on December 11: Nagore-Tiruchi passenger (56851) will run between Nagore and Golden Rock; Tirunelveli-Mayiladuthurai-Tirunelveli passenger (56821/56822) will run between Tirunelveli and Manapparai; Cuddalore Port-Tiruchi-Cuddalore Port passenger (56805/56806) will run between Cuddalore Port and Srirangam; Erode-Tiruchi-Erode passenger (56844/56843) will run between Erode and Tiruchi Fort; and Palakkad Town-Tiruchi-Palakkad Town passenger (56848/56847) will run between Palakkad Town and Tiruchi Fort.

Rescheduled trains

Tiruchi-Nagore passenger (56852) scheduled to leave Tiruchi at 4.30 p.m. will be rescheduled to leave at 5.30 p.m. on December 11, and Tiruchi-Howrah Express (12664) will leave at 5.35 p.m. on December 11 against its scheduled departure of 4 p.m.

Guruvayur-Chennai Egmore Express (16128) scheduled to leave Tiruchi at 2.10 p.m. will be rescheduled to depart at 4.10 p.m. on December 10.

Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express (16127) scheduled to reach Tiruchi at 1.10 p.m. will be regulated to reach here after 5 p.m. on December 11.

Tiruchi-Chennai Egmore Express (16854) will leave at 10.05 a.m. instead of 9.35 a.m. from December 7 to 11.

Chennai Egmore-Tiruchi Express (16853) will be regulated en route to reach Tiruchi at 5.35 p.m. on December 11.
