Title - Divisional Railway User’s Consultative Committee Meeting Held in Hyderabad Division of SCR .

The 52nd Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee Meeting of Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway was held o­n 22.05.2013 atHyderabad Bhavan, Secunderabad under the chairmanship of Shri Rakesh Aron, Divisional Railway Manager, Shri M. Krishna, Secretary and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Additional Divisional Railway Manager and other Branch Officers of Hyderabad Division. This was the first meeting of the newly formed committee.Out of 15 nominated members of DRUCC, 09members attended the Meeting.In the welcome address, chairman highlighted the performance of the Division during the year 2012-13 , Improvements of Passenger services like stoppage of trains, stoppage of trains at stations, extension of trains, introduction of new trains as announced in the Railway Budget, running of special trains, appointment of Jansadaran Ticket Booking Sevaks at stations and appointment of Facilitators for operation of Automatic Ticket Vending Machiunes at MMTS stations.He also enlightened the member about variousimportant passenger amenity work completed and in progress at stations.

The members expressed their satisfaction and appreciation over the improvements made at stations and for introduction of additional trains, extension of trains, stoppages at stations, running of special trains etc.The members represented for introduction of new trains, stoppage for long distance trains at stations, increasing frequency of the existing popular trains, provision of additional shifts in PRS Counters, additionalPRS counters, improvement to station building, circulating area, concourse, relocation of booking offices, enhancing security of passengers by trains etc.The chairman assured the members that their suggestions/representations would be examined within the extant guidelines/norms and action taken accordingly.
