Title - Government Railway Police nabs 4 thugs at station

ALLAHABAD: The Government Railway Police on Sunday nabbed four zeher khurans (thugs) at Allahabad junction. The accused used to drug passengers by offering them eatables laced with toxic powder and decamped with their luggage and belongings. Acting on a tip-off, GRP cornered the four accused on platform number 9 of the Allahabad junction.

The arrested persons were identified as Rajesh Baida of Civil Lines, Deepak of Leader Road, Saleem Khan of Haridwar and Lalit Ram of Meja. Toxic powder was recovered from the accused. According to GRP, Rajesh has been involved in similar cases of drugging and looting passengers. He has also been jailed at Palamu in Jharkhand in a similar case.
