Title - Moradabad GRP launches Nirbhaya cards

LUCKNOW: Inspired by the TOI campaign dedicated to Nirbhaya — fighting crime against women — the Moradabad government railway police (GRP) has launched Nirbhaya card which provides numbers of all GRP stations between Moradabad and Lucknow on one end and Delhi on the other. The card also contains numbers of GRP control rooms on the route.

An initiative of SP Ram Krishna Bharadwaj, the drive was launched on Tuesday under which 10,000 cards were distributed.

"The focus will mainly be on women passengers and occupants of the special ladies coaches in all the trains running on the route. The idea is to provide a single 10 digit number to the women passengers to make a call if in distress," said Bharadwaj.
