Title - MP lays foundation stone of railway overbridge

ALLAHABAD: Laying the foundation stone of a railway overbridge at Rambagh crossing at KP Community Hall, local MP and Samajwadi Party's national secretary Reoti Raman Singh on Saturday said that the upcoming project would go a long way in addressing the woes of commuters between Chowk and Bairahna and other adjoining localities.Stating that project was sanctioned following intensive persuasion of Central ministers and railway authorities, Singh said that at last the long standing demand of the citizens would be fulfilled. He added that apart from this several other projects, including electrification of villages in trans Yamuna areas under the Prime Minister Rural Electrification scheme would be taken up soon. This would bring city on the roadmap of development and at par with other big cities of the country.Others present at the function included city North MLA, Anugrah Narayan Singh, city south MLA Haji Parvez Ahmad, SP leader Vinay Kishwaha and chief engineer, construction, Northern Railway.
