Jeyadurai, Tuticorin MP, for making efforts to bring the facility, The train would reach Okha in Gujarat on Wednesday at 1.35 a.m. In the return direction, the train would depart from Okha at 11.45 p.m. on Thursday and arrive Tuticorn at 6.45 a.m. on Sunday.The train will stop at Maniyachi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Bangarpet, Krishnarajapuram, Manthralayam Road, Dharmavaram, Pune, Kalyan, Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad, Dwaraka en route. This train service was announced in the railway budget 2011 but owing to pit line works at Tuticorin railway station, it originated from Madurai.
