Title - Passenger train hits goods train at Kalajhari

Hundreds of passengers who boarded in Puri-Durg Express had a narrow escape when the passenger train hit a goods train that was stationed at crossover point on the track near Kalajhari between Mancheswar and Barang railway station here on Wednesday evening.East Cost Railway spokesperson Rabi Mohapatra said there were no casualty and no major injury due to minor collision.He said although the goods train had left Mancheswar Railway Station much before Puri-Durg Express, it somehow halted at a crossover point. The passenger train could not cross it and collided with it.The frontal portion of passenger train was damaged. Train movement was also affected on the busy line as the train track was damaged in the accident.
