A scuffle between a railway inspector and a railway employee resulted in the latter being detained by the Tambaram police on Thursday. Police said that on Friday, Mathiazhagan, inspector, government railway police, Chennai Central, was travelling on a suburban electric train. A. Nallathambi (40) a railway employee working in the accounts department, was also travelling in the same compartment. The got into a scuffle and they were pacified by other commuters travelling in the general compartment. When the two reached Tambaram railway station, Nallathambi reportedly misbehaved with the inspector. A case was registered against him.
