Title - Renovated female ward opened

A renovated female ward at the South Central Railway (SCR) Central Hospital, Lalaguda was inaugurated on Saturday by PS Prasad, director general (Railway Health Services), Railway Board, New Delhi.The centralised air-conditioned female ward with 24 beds has modern medical facilities. The ward is provided with daylight pipe for illuminating interiors with sunlight.The high-power light collector of this technology with UV stability collects sunlight from all directions and delivers it effectively into the ward even at low sun angles.The natural light de-stresses patients, supplies vitamin D supplements towards quick recovery.
