Title - SCR books 291 cases against ticketless passengers

The South Central Railway (SCR) officials booked 291 cases on passengers travelling without tickets and for carrying un-booked luggage.They collected Rs.1.13 lakh penalty during the drive.The team under the supervision of Vijayawada Assistant Commercial Manager, Ch. Lakshmi Narasimham conducted ticket checking drive at Nuzvid Railway Station on May 3{+r}{+d}and booked cases against ticket-less passengers.As many as 23 staff including the ticket checking squads, in-charge supervisors, Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police participated in the drive.

Cleanliness drive

The railway officials conducted cleanliness drive all over Vijayawada Division and booked 250 cases on passengers and stall owners for not keeping the railway premises clean.

The officials collected Rs.50,850 fine from the offenders, said the SCR officials in a press release.
