Title - Second trial run on electrified section

The second trial run of electric loco on the recently electrified Nagercoil–Tirunelveli section was conducted on Friday. The first trial run was conducted on March 7.Based on the feedback given by the loco pilots, minor rectifications were done at a few places, and the second trial run was conducted to ensure incident-free operation of electric trains on this section.“As the second trial run was smooth, we can expect the operation of trains soon, and the long-distance trains being operated from Tirunelveli via Thiruvananthapuram will soon shift to the electric mode,” a senior officer at Tirunelveli Railway Junction said.
