Shri.D.P.Pande, General Manager, South Central Railway inaugurated the Data Centre of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. in Rail Nilayam in the presence of Shri R.K.Bahuguna, Chairman & Managing Director of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd..

This is the first Data Centre of RailTel as well as Indian Railways.This Data Centre is Tier-III certified for design and facilities by Uptime Institute, U.S.A.

Through the Data Centre, RailTel will offer the following services:

·        Co-location

·        Dedicated Hosting

·      Cloud Computing

·        DR site services

·        Other IT related services

It has world class facilities with state of Art Data Centre Infrastructure Management System and Building Management System in place. All the Infrastructure in the Data Centre is concurrently maintainable due to redundancy features.
