When asked about Former Railways Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal’s view on the security arrangements on the local platform, the minister said that before introducing new security equipment at the railway station, but before introducing it the public should be made aware of the entire security process.The passengers will have to reach the security counter on time so that the process moves fast. I have already discussed the issue with senior officials and the matter will be taken care of.

New trains for Bengaluru, Shirdi, Nanded Sahib soon

The former Union Railway Minister also mentioned that the coming days new trains will be started from City Beautiful. Ganganagar -Rishikesh Yesvantpur (Bangalore)-Hazrat Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Express will also be extended to Chandigarh on two days from next fortnight. Kalka-Shirdi Express will also be on track from the first week of September (the train was earlier proposed to start plying from May 15 last) are among some of the new trains that will be introduced soon. Bansal said, “On the Chandigarh route there was a need of double track for smooth running of the trains.The request has already been made to the higher authorities and hopefully some development will be made soon, keeping the local interest in mind”.
