ALLAHABAD: Owing to heavy summer rush, the railway administration has decided to start a new train between Kolkata and New Delhi. This train (3001/3002) will also touch Allahabad. This train will be beneficial to passengers who are unable to get reserved seats in trains.The train will depart from Kolkata at about 6:35 pm and pass through Asansol, Dhanbad, Kodarma, Gaya, Dehri-on-Son reaching Mughalsarai at 5:05 am, Allahabad at 7:35 am and Kanpur at 10:10 am before terminating at New Delhi at about 5:00 pm. During the return journey, the train will depart from New Delhi at about 11:45 pm and arrive at Kanpur at 6:10 am, Allahabad at 8:50 am, Mughalsarai at about 11:40 am to terminate at Kolkata at about 11:25 pm.This train having number 3001 will depart from Kolkata end on May 26 (Sunday) and from New Delhi end on May 27 (Monday).This train will comprise of about two AC-II tier, six AC-III tier, eight sleeper and one pantry car.
