Title - Special trains help devotees from four states reach Shirdi easily

MUMBAI: The introduction of ten trains from Sainagar railway station in the recent past has been of immense help to devotees of Sai Baba from four states -- Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.A spokesperson from the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust at Shirdi said, "We express our gratitude to railway administration for introducing more trains so that devotees can come by the rail route to the holy town". The Sainagar railway station is on Manmad-Ahmednagar highway and 2 km from Shirdi town.At present, the Sainagar-Mumbai fast passenger train departs from Shirdi at 4.40 pm daily and Sainagar-Dadar train departs every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 10.25 pm, and Sainagar-Pandharpur Express leaves Shirdi station every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 5 am. The Sainagar-Secunderabad Express train travels on Monday and Saturday at 5.10 while Sainagar-Kakinada Express departs from Shirdi at 5.10 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The Sainagar-Vijaywada Express train leaves Shirdi station every Wednesday at 5.10 pm while the Sainagar-Mysore Express departs every Tuesday at 11.55 pm, the spokesperson added.
