Title - Telangana issue: Trains diverted

The following trains are diverted in view of the protests against the bifurcation of AP.

Lokamanya Tilak terminus-Coimbatore Kurla Express has been diverted via Tumkur, Arsikere, Chikajajur and Bellary; Mysore-Jaipur Express has been diverted via Bangalore Cantonment, Yelahanka, Tumkur, Arsikere, Chikajajur, Bellary and Guntakal; Bangalore City-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express has been diverted via Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Renigunta and is rescheduled to leave the city at 2 pm and  Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda Express is diverted via Tumkur, Arisikere, Chikajajur, Bellary and Guntakal.

The following trains have been partially canceled: Tirupati - Guntakal passenger is cancelled between Kadri and Guntakal; Guntakal - Tirupati Passenger has been cancelled between Dharmavaram and Tirupati and Vijaywada - Yeshwantpur Express has been cancelled between Anantpur and Yeshwantpur. 

These trains will run as pairing trains in the return direction.

The following trains have been fully cancelled: Guntakal - Hindupur Passenger, Hindupur - Guntakal passenger, Guntakal - Tirupati passenger and Tirupati - Guntakal passenger.

Trains Delayed Near Kuppam

Following heavy wind, a huge tree fell on an electric pole at Mallanur railway station.

As a result, train services were affected for three hour between 5.45 and 8.45 pm.

Bangalore-Chennai Express was delayed by three hours, Lalbagh Express by one-and-a-half hour and Shatabdi Express by two hours.  Railway officials were pressed into service
