Title - Train schedules changed

MYSORE:South Western Railway has announced the revision of arrival and departure schedules of a few trains on the Mysore-Bangalore section with effect from April 1, 2013.The authorities have announced the revised schedules for the Chennai-Mysore Kaveri Express, Ajmer-Mysore Express, Sai Nagar Shirdi Mysore Express and Mysore-Bangalore Passenger service.

Express train:Train No. 06221 Mysore-Bangalore Express will depart from Mysore station at 8.15 a.m. instead of 9.15 a.m., and it will reach Bangalore city at 11 a.m. instead of 1.10 p.m. as it did earlier. A South Western Railway release said en route the train will arrive/depart at Pandavpura at 8.34 a.m./8.35 a.m., Mandya at 8.59 a.m./9 a.m.; Maddur at 9.20 a.m/9.21 a.m.; Channapatana at 9.36 a.m./9.37 a.m.; Ramanagaram at 9.48 a.m/9.49 a.m.; Bidadi at 10.01 a.m./10.02 a.m.; and will arrive/depart at Kengeri at 10.23 a.m./10.24 a.m.

In the return direction, Train No. 06222 Bangalore City-Mysore Express will depart from Bangalore city station at 12.15 p.m. instead of 1.40 p.m. as it did earlier, and arrive at Mysore at 3 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. En route, the Bangalore City-Mysore Express will arrive/depart at Kengeri at 12.32 p.m./12.33 p.m; Bidadi at 12.47p.m./12.48 p.m.; Ramanagaram at 1 p.m/1.01 p.m; Channapatna at 1.10 p.m./1.11 p.m.; Maddur at 1.26 p.m/.127 p.m.; Mandya at 11.43 p.m/1.44 p.m.; and Pandavapura at 2.14 p.m/2.15 p.m.

Kaveri Express

Train No. 16222 Chennai-Mysore Kaveri Express will arrive/depart from Bangalore city station at 4 a.m/4.15 a.m. with effect from April 1, 2013. En route the train will halt at Kengeri (arrival at 4.32 a.m/departure at 4.33 a.m.); Bidadi (4.47 a.m./4.48 a.m); Ramanagaram at (5 a.m/5.01 a.m); Channapatna (5.10 a.m./5.11 a.m.); Maddur (5.25 a.m./5.26 p.m.); Mandya (5.46 a.m./5.47 a.m.); Pandavapura (6.13 a.m./6.14 a.m.) and arrive at Mysore at 7 a.m. instead of 7.40 a.m. as it did earlier.

However, there will be no change in the timings between Chennai and Bangalore city stations.

Ajmer Express

The timings of Train No. 16209 Ajmer-Mysore Express will be revised between Bangalore City and Mysore Stations with effect from April 2, 2013.

Accordingly, Train No.16209 Ajmer-Mysore Express will arrive/depart at Bangalore City at 3.30 a.m./3.45 a.m at Mandya (5.11 a.m./5.13 a.m) and arrive at Mysore at 6.10 a.m. instead of 6.55 a.m.

Passenger train

The timings of Train No. 56229 Mysore-Bangalore City Passenger has also been revised. It will depart from Mysore at 8.45 a.m. instead of 8.20 a.m., and reach Bangalore at 12.10 p.m. with effect from April 1, 2013, the release added.
