Title - Train service to Dadar flagged off

S.S.Ramasubbu, MP, flagged off the Tirunelveli-Dadar Superfast Express at Tirunelveli Junction on Wednesday.This train service, introduced via Konkan Railway, was announced in the 2012-13 Railway Budget. Train No.22630 Tirunelveli - Dadar Express will leave Tirunelveli at 7.10 a.m. on Wednesdays and reach Dadar at 3.10 p.m. on Thursdays. Train No. 22629 Dadar-Tirunelveli Express will leave Dadar at 8.40 p.m. on Fridays and arrive Tirunelveli at 4 a.m. on Sundays.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 6 second class sleeper, 6 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Kovilpatti, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Mangalore Jn., Udupi, Honnavar, Karwar, Madgaon, Thivim, Kankavli, Chiplun, Roha, Panvel and Thane. Station Manager Chelladurai participated in the inaugural function.
