NAGERCOIL:The departure and arrival of trains in Kottar railway junction were delayed on Friday due to a technical snag in the signal.According to sources, the departure of Mumbai Express (6.05 a.m.) was delayed by 25 minutes, the arrival of Rameswaram-Kanyakumari Express (4.30 a.m.) was delayed by more than an hour, the departure of Guruvayur-Chennai Express (5.45 a.m.) was delayed by 30 minutes, the departure of Coimbatore passenger (7.30 a.m) was also delayed by 30 minutes, the arrival of Kanyakumari Express (6.15 a.m.) was delayed by 45 minutes, Coimbatore Express (6.45 a.m.) by 15 minutes and the Ananthapurai Express reached Nagercoil an hour late.Office and college goers were put to hardship owing to the technical snag at the signal at Kottar railway junction.
