Chandigarh: The Railway authorities today began the work of overhead bridge at the Chandigarh Railway Station. The project was approved by the higher authorities for giving a facelift to the station.A senior official said after the plying of new trains from the city railway station, the footfall of passengers was going to increase due to which the bridge was constructed at the station.Two days ago, the work of the bridge was stopped as the clearance from the Northern Railways was not received by the Ambala division.
