Southern Railway has made Jolarpettai a permanent stoppage for Chennai – Coimbatore – Chennai Shatabdi Express.

Train number 12243 and 12244 Chennai Central – Coimbatore – Chennai Central Shatabdi Express will continue to stop at Jolarpettai Railway station until further notice.
