Title - Drive against unauthorised vendors

A surprise check was conducted at Visakhapatnam Railway Station on Tuesday to detect unauthorised catering by vendors. The check was conducted by the Commercial staff and Railway Protection Force (RPF) under the direct supervision of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager M. Yelvender Yadav. As many as 20 unauthorised vendors were caught as per the Railway rules during the one-and-a-half hour check.

Waltair Division will organise more such check drives to prevent unauthorised vendors, who sell unhygienic food leading to ill-health among the travelling public.  The intention of checks is to create awareness among the passengers travelling who buy the unhygienic food which may lead to unwanted health problems.
