Title - Grid collapse:Train services hit in ECoR jurisdiction

Train services in East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction were disrupted for about one-and-a-half hours following the collapse of eastern grid.

ECoR sources here said 13 mail express trains, including Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Express, Mysore-Howrah Express, Secunderabad- Howrah Falaknuma Express, Tirupathy-Santragachhi Express, Villupuram-Kharagpur Express, Dhauli Express, Pondichery-Bhubaneswar Express and five local passenger trains were stranded en route at different stations in ECoR jurisdiction.

Train services, however, were normalised in Palasa-Bhadrak section at 1445 hrs, sources said.
