Title - Hubballi station is the best maintained station in South Western Railway

Hubballi station came out as the best maintained major station in South Western Railway.  This feat is achieved by the station due to enhancement of following facilities and modernization in the year 2016 – 17. Following facilities has been added on the station -

• To avoid congestion & crowding at concourse new PRS office has been shifted to Basement/Commercial Block of Station.
• 4 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) and 2 Coin operated Ticket Vending Machines (CoTVM) have been provided in concourse.
• Free Wi-Fi connectivity has been provided.
• Additional cover over Platform Number 1.
• Murals have been provided at lower circulating area.
• Tree plantation drive has been initiated around the Station premises.
• Cement Concrete Apron has been provided at Platform Number 4.
• Digital display charts have been provided at station’s main entrance.
• Water vending machines have been provided at various platforms.
• “Baby Care Corner” is now available in Ladies waiting room.
• Child Care Protection has been started.
• Cloak Room facility has been provided at Platform number 1.

Following facilities will be provided shortly –

• Battery operated ferry cars for senior citizens and special abled citizens.
• Second entry to Station from Gadag road.
