Title - Northern Railway introduces new passenger train

The people of Haryana have a reason to cheer as the Northern Railways has introduced a new passenger train from Rohtak to Panipat and extended Jind-Sirsa passenger train to Hisar. Also, Delhi-Jind passenger has been extended to Narwana.

Number of other Mail/express trains have also been extended, which would benefit number of towns in Haryana.

Congress Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda hailed the move to start new train from Rohtak to Panipat and extension of Jind-Sirsa passenger train to Hisar and Delhi-Jind passenger upto Narwana.

Rohtak-Panipat passenger train will run daily and depart from Rohtak at 11:15 am to arrive at 2 pm at Panipat and would start back at 2:30 pm from Panipat to arrive at 4:40 pm at Rohtak. This would benefit the three districts of Rohtak, Sonepat and Panipat, he added.

Jind-Sirsa passenger train has been extended to Hisar. It would depart from Jind at 4:25 pm and would reach Sirsa at 10:45 pm, would depart for Hisar after five minute halt to reach Hisar at 12:25 am.

Delhi-Jind passenger express has been extended from Jind to Narwana. It would reach Jind at 9:45 pm to depart at 10 pm for Narwana. It would reach Narwana at 10:45 pm. The train would start from Narwana at 11:15 pm to reach Jind at 12.05 am. The extension upto Narwana would provide another linked to Delhi and vice versa.

Similarly, Kathgodam-Delhi Ranikhet express has been extended upto Jodhpur and this daily express train would benefit the people of Gurgaon, Patodi Road and Rewari.
