WR in its another initiative, has started providing information of its tentative plan to attach extra coaches in regular Mail/Express trains for the next one to three days in advance on its website www.wr.indianrailways.gov.in. It is a new service started by WR on its website. WR has taken this initiative to keep its passengers updated on the position of probability of confirmation of their waitlisted tickets which would also help in minimizing the role of unscrupulous elements who try to take advantage of the lack of information amongst the passengers. Besides it will also bring transparency.

This passenger friendly information along with position of berth availability in WR trains is uploaded on WR’s website under the menu “Passenger & Freight Services” on the home page.
