Title - Facelift of Udgir station, an important station in Vikarabad-Parli Vaijnath section

Udgir railway station is getting a face lift and adding various amenities over its premises dedicated to passengers. Udgir stations falls under Secunderabad division of South Central Railway.

On June 4, second high level platform has already been finished with an estimated cost of Rs. 94 lakh. The newly built platform is equipped with 15 water pedestals with vacuum-diverted flooring. Also cover-over platform and foot - over bridge has already been sanctioned for the station. 

“These works come under the augmentation of additional passenger amenities at Udgir station where three waiting halls are available at present,” said a railway official.

Udgir station is an important station in Vikarabad-Parli Vaijnath section and daily on an average 4150 people commute via this station. Railway earns 1.55 lakh rupees everyday from Udgir which has stoppage of 2 trains.
