Title - Freedom Fighters / their Widows Entitled to Travel By II Tier AC / III Tier AC Classes in Duronto Ex

Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) have decided that the 1st Class / 2ndAC Complimentary Card Passes issued to freedom fighters / their widows shallbe valid for travel by II Tier AC / III Tier AC classes in Duronto Express Trains also along with o­ne companion in the same class in addition to the facility of rail travel already admissible.
Facility of rail travel already admissible: Freedom fighters / their widows receiving pension from Central revenues under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Schemeof the Government of India were issued with Complimentary Card Passes o­n life time basis for free rail travel over all Indian Railways, except Metro Railway, Kolkata,in First Class / II Tier AC Class along with o­ne companion in the same class by any train including Rajdhani / Shatabdi / Jan Shatabdi Express trains”.
