Ludhiana: Most of the long distance trains continued to run behind schedule due to dense fog for the second consecutive day today.Railway officials said the New Delhi-Amritsar Shan-e-Punjab Express was running 3.30 hours behind schedule and the Chhattisgarh Express and the New Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi Express were running late by an hour.Among the up trains, the Schkhand Express was running hours late, while the Kolkata-Amritsar Express was delayed by five hours.Ravinder Sharma, station superintendent, said: “Low visibility due to fog has made the situation worse for passengers in the region. Some of the trains have been running late by several hours.”
