Title - Railway Protection Force Bid Farewell to GM / SCR

The Railway Protection Force, South Central Railway organized a Farewell Parade at RPF Training Centre, Moula-Ali, Hyderabad today i.e., 29.01.2013 o­n the eve of Shri. G.N.Asthana , General Manager,South Central Railway demitting office o­n superannuation. Shri. G.N.Asthana and Smt. Manjulika Asthana, President , South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization were felicitated by the RPF fraternity o­n the occasion
Five Contingents of RPF Constable Recruits, one Contingent of RPSF and o­ne Contingent of RPF Dog Squad were part of the Parade. The General Manager took the salute and inspected the contingents accompanied by Shri. B. Mohan, IG-Chief Security Commissioner, SCR and parade commander.
Addressing the RPF fraternity, Shri G.N.Asthana lauded the efforts of RPF in protecting the railway property and providing security to thepassengers for their safe travel.He mentioned that though Operating, Mechanical, Commercial, Engineering, Electrical and Signal are the frontal departments in SCR, RPF is the back bone of the Railway security.He had a word of praise for Shri B. Mohan for leading the Force successfully o­n the Zone. Later, the General Manager inaugurated the refurbished obstacle course and Smt. Manjulika Asthana started an obstacle race amongst the recruit trainees and gave away prizes to the winners.

Shri. B. Mohan in his address mentioned about the support and guidance given by Shri. G.N.Asthana to the RPF in difficult times in tackling various situations and expressed his gratitude for the same.

Earlier, Shri. B.B. Mishra, DIG/RPF/Training Centre, Moula-Ali presented the welcome address. Shri. K.Arul Jothi , Dy.CSC presented the Vote of thanks . Amongst those present were, Senior Officers of SCR and the RPF.
