Title - Spl trains between Mumbai-Velankanni for annual festival

Chennai, Aug 10: The Southern Railway today announced special train services from Mumbai to Velankanni for the Velankanni festival and also between Mumbai and Chennai.

A railway press release here said the Velankanni-Mumbai CST special would leave Velankanni at 2030 hrs on September eight and arrive in Mumbai at 1215 hrs on September 10. The composition of the train would be two AC 3-tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two luggage-cum- brake van coaches. The train will stop at Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Sirkazhi, Chidambaram, Tirupadiripuliyur, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Katpadi, Tiruttani, Puttur, Renigunta, Koduru, Razampet, Cuddappah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Daund, Pune, Kalyan and Dadar.

The Mumbai CST-Chennai Central special would leave Mumbai at 1330 hrs on September 10 and arrive Chennai Central at 2055 hrs the next day. The composition of the train would be two AC 3-tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The train will stop at Dadar, Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampet, Renigunta, Puttur, Tiruttani, Arakkonam and Perambur. Advance reservation for the above trains would commence on August 12.
