Visakhapatnam: In a view to clear extra rush in regular trains and to provide a comfortable journey for passengers, Ministry of Railways has decided to run the following winter special trains.
Train no.08041 Santragachhi (Howrah)-Chennai Express will leave from Santragachhi at 12.30 pm (noon) on every Sunday between 9 to 30th December 2012, will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 02.30am and depart at 02.50 am and will reach Chennai at 5.00pm on the same day.  In the return direction Train no. 08042 Chennai-Santragachhi Express will leave Chennai at 11.00am on every Tuesday between 4th December 2012 to 1st January 2013 will arrive in Visakhapatnam at 12.10 am (Midnight) that is early hours of Wednesday and depart at 12.30am and will reach Santragachhi at 02.15pm on the same day.
The pair of trains have a composition of  Two AC-2 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Gudur railway stations between Santragachhi and Chennai.
In a similar way Train no. 08635 Hatia-Yesvantpur Express will leave Hatia at 09.40am on every Thursday between 6th December to 27th December 2012, will arrive inVisakhapatnam on Friday at 01.30am and depart at 01.50am will reach Yesvantpur 22.00hrs on the same day. In the return direction Train no. 08636 Yesvantpur-Hatia Express will leave Yesvantpur at 08.30hrs on every Saturday between 8th December to 29th December 2012 and will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Sunday at 05.00am depart at 05.20am and will reach Hatia at 09.30pm on the same day.
The pair of train will have Two AC-2 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition and stoppages at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Bolangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpeta, Bangarapet, and Krishnarajpuram railway stations between Hatia and Yesvantpur, informed the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, M. Yelvender Yadav.
