Title - Additional AC coaches for Pune-Howrah Exp

PUNE: The Railways have decided to provide additional air-conditioned coaches to the biweekly Pune-Howrah-Pune Duronto Express.
One coach each would be provided to the existing three AC II tier and nine AC III tier coaches on the train.
“Initially, the additional coaches would be provided on a temporary basis. But if the occupancy in these additional coaches are satisfactory, then the additional coaches would be attached on a permanent basis,” railway officials said, predicting that occupancy in these additional air-conditioned coaches would be good.
At present, the additional coaches would be attached to the Pune-bound Duronto Express from Howrah from May 2 to June 26 and in the Howrah-bound Duronto Express from Pune from May 4 to July 1.
