BANGALORE: With effect from May 1, 2013, the time limit for advance reservation by trains will be 60 days (excluding the day of journey) and bookings will be done accordingly, for the South Western Railways. The existing time limit for Advance reservations is 120 days.All the bookings done up to April 30, 2013 under the advance reservation period of 120 days will remain intact. Cancellations of the booking made beyond the advance reservation period of 60 days will however be permitted. There will also be no change in the case of limit of 360 days for foreign tourists, said an official release from the railways. |
