AMRITSAR: The victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots along with the sikh student body protested against the acquittal of Sajjan Kumar. The protestors blocked the Amritsar-Delhi railway track around 5.30am, today.

Therefore due to the protest the Amritsar mail, Andaman express and a goods train were also stopped. The protestors demanded execution of Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar.

Also, Shatabdi Express at Phagwara Railway Station was also blocked during the protest, SGPC Chief Avtar Singh Makkar, later called off the protest.
