Parisian Café, on the premises of the Trinity metro station, was inaugurated here on Monday. The café offers a selection of bakery products as well as salads and soups.

‘Better service’:“The whole idea is to create a pleasing ambience for Bangaloreans and offer them better service,” said Managing Director of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) N. Sivasailam, who inaugurated the Parisian Cafe set up by Breadworks Boulangerie, which is a division of Claire Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd..Cherian Philip, Managing Director, Claire Foods & Beverages, said that two more cafes will soon be opened at Ulsoor and Indiranagar metro Stations.

Facilities planned:Mr. Sivasailam announced that BMRCL is planning to set up a series of public service facilities such as 24-hour pharmacies and foreign exchange kiosks in all the metro stations.“It’s good to be able to get snacks at the metro station as I leave home early in the. And it’s easy on pocket too,” said Ashwin Kaveriappa, who takes the metro from Trinity station to the Indiranagar station every day.
