he Railways have withdrawn additional charges levied on commodities transported through the railway network. The Railways had been levying additional charges at the rate of Rs.45 per tonne of iron ore, Rs.20 per tonne of food grains; and Rs.40 a tonne on all other items. — Special Correspondent
