With water overflowing on tracks due to heavy rains between Kondapalli and Madhira stations, trains being operated on Gudur-Vijayawada-Kazipet section are running late, said South Central Railway (SCR) in a press release.Besides, SCR has set up helpline numbers for the convenience of passengers and they can contact the following numbers for more details.

Meanwhile, SCR has diverted and cancelled a few trains on Saturday due to heavy rains.Trains that were diverted include train No. 12763 Tirupati-Secunderabad Padmavati Express which is being operated via Tenali– Guntur –Nadikudi-Bibinagar.Train No.12759 Chennai-Hyderabad Charminar Express is diverted via Tenali– Guntur –Nadikudi-Bibinagar. Train No. 12709 Gudur-Secunderabad Simhapuri Express is diverted via Tenali– Guntur –Nadikudi-Bibinagar. Train No. 12296 Patna-Banglore Sangamitra Express is diverted via Kazipet, Secunderabad, Raichur, Guntakal, and Dharmavaram.

Trains that were cancelled on Saturday are train no. 57237 Kazipet-Vijayawada Passenger, train no. 57238 Vijayawada-Kazipet Passenger, train no. 57254 Vijayawada-Bhadrachalam Road Passenger, train no. 57253 Bhadrachalam Road-Vijayawada Passenger, train no. 67269 Kazipet-Dornakal Passenger, train no. 67271 Dornakal-Vijayawada Passenger, train no. 67273 Vijayawada-Guntur Passenger and train no. 67274 Guntur-Vijayawada Passenger.
