Title - Special trains from Vasco to Velankanni

South Western Railway has decided to run special express trains between Vasco-da-Gama and Velankanni, to clear the pilgrims’ rush during celebrations of the feast of the Nativity of Mary on September 8 in Velankanni church.

There will be three trips in each direction. Vasco-da-Gama Velankanni Express Special (07315) will leave Vasco station at 9 a.m. on August 29, September 2 and 5 and reach Velankanni station at 12.25 p.m. the next day. On its return, Vasco-da-Gama Express Special (07316) will leave Velankanni station at 2.25 p.m. on August 30, September 3 and 9, and reach Vasco station at 7.50 p.m. the next day.

The Express will have one AC 2-tier coach, one AC 3-tier coach, eight second class sleeper coaches, six general second class coaches and two second class vans.
