Members of the Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Wayanad Chamber of Commerce have constituted a Mysore–Wayanad Joint Railway Connectivity Committee for seeking rail link between the two regions. At a meeting held here on Tuesday, MCCI president Sudhakar Shetty said if the railway line was approved, it would boost industrialisation, trade, tourism, and commerce. A.S. Satish, vice-president of MCCI; M.C. Bhansali, secretary; Shreeshaila Ramannavar, member, Ashok, vice-president, Travel Agents Association, and members of Wayanad Chamber of Commerce were present. |
