Title - Travel hassle-free this festive season

Bangalore: Railways have announced special trains for the festival season starting with Ganesha Chaturthi.

• Kacheguda-Bangalore City-Kacheguda
will leave Kacheguda at 10pm on Saturday and reach Bangalore City at 12.45pm on Sunday. The same train will return the same day at 1.45pm and reach Kacheguda on Monday at 4.30am. The service will be available from September 20 to 27.

• Special weekly train between Yeshwantpur and Ernakulam will leave Yeshwantpur at 9.15am on Mondays and reach Ernakulam at 9.30pm the same day. On the return direction, it leaves Ernakulam at 11pm on Monday and reaches Yeshwantpur at Noon on Tuesdays. The service is available from October 1 to November 26.

• Weekly Garib Rath between Yeshwantpur and Jaipur will leave Yeshwantpur on Sundays at 5.20am and reach Jaipur at 4.05am on Tuesdays. On return, it will depart from Jaipur at 3.30pm on Tuesdays and arrive at Bangalore on Thursdays at 3.10pm. The service is available from October 2 to November 27.

• Special weekly train between Bangalore City and Patna will leave Bangalore City at 10.10am on Tuesdays and arrive at Patna at 9.50am on Thursdays. On its return journey, the train will depart from Patna at 8.10pm on Thursdays and reach Bangalore City at 9pm on Saturdays. The first service from Patna will commence from September 27 and the last will be on November 27.

• Bangalore City-Tirunelveli-Bangalore City
weekly express will leave Bangalore City at 6.45am and reach Tirunelveli at 7.30pm on Sundays. On return, it will leave Tirunelveli at 10.55pm on Sunday and reach Bangalore City at 12.50pm on Mondays. The first service will start from September 23 and last will be on November 25.

• Special daily train between Mysore and Bangalore will leave Mysore at 8am and reach Bangalore City at 11.15am. It will return from Bangalore City at 12.05pm and reach Mysore at 3.40pm
