Title - Two girls arrested for beating Railway Protection Force sub-inspector

PATNA: Government Railway Police at Patna Junction arrested two girls on the charges of assaulting a sub-inspector of Railway Protection Force (RPF) on the platform. The girls were produced before the court of railway magistrate, GRP inspector R P Singh said here on Saturday evening.According to the GRP inspector, a youth, Ranjan, was moving on the platform without a valid platform ticket and was caught by the RPF jawans. He was taken to the RPF post in custody. The boy informed his sisters - Gudiya and Renu - who came from Bihta and reportedly pressurized the RPF to release him.Singh claimed the girls entered into a heated argument with a sub-inspector of RPF, who alleged the girls also beat him up. The RPF lodged an FIR with the GRP, following which the two girls were arrested. He said girls appeared to be educated and were quite aggressive. The version of the girls or their brother could not be obtained as they were sent to the court.

Two injured: In another incident on Saturday evening, a clash took place at a liquor shop on Ashiana Mor on Bailey road in which two people were injured. Shastrinagar police said some customers assaulted a local resident and later damaged the liquor shop.
